Rooted in the vision of Servant of God Rev. Fr. Louis Savinien Dupuis, MEP, Immaculate began in a small hut in 1862 to free girls from ignorance through education. Today it is a Government-aided high school run by the Franciscan Sisters of the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

Since becoming a high school in 1999–2000, Immaculate has kept a continuous 100% pass record in public examinations — the fruit of dedicated teachers, disciplined students and supportive parents.
